Conservatory Of Flowers - Aquascapes Exhibit

The Conservatory of Flowers, located in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco invited us to take part in their Aquascapes Exhibit, featuring planted aquariums. We were honored to be a part of this. We provided all the tanks and gear and assisted in all of the installation and care for the entire exhibit. There were 12 tanks in total. Ocean Treasures fully aquascaped three of these, while each of the conservatory's crew created a tank each.

The planning was intensive as we had one month before showtime. And showtime meant fully grown matured tanks.

The tanks were temporarily setup in a back room green house. This is where we did the aquascapes, grow out the plants, and tweak all the CO2 to get things going.

During the first month, the main room was being prepped and transformed into a large cave!

After construction was complete, we very carefully drained and moved every single tank and placed them into their designated spots in the cave. With all the challenges this project was, we are proud to say that this was the Conservatories most visited exhibit!
